She is quite a comfort!

This blog began as a place to present a range of pictures, normal-ish to bizarre, of New Orleans, post-Katrina. Now, it contains more elements of my life and art. Comments and pictures from the long lasting aftershocks of the storm will crop up from time to time. If you want to view post-Katrina photos, see the earliest archives.

Great looking pup. She has some basset hound in her (ears and legs). Animals, unlike some or most people, are what they are.
Good luck with her.
Thanks! It's like a baby boom or something. I have always had street dogs (always good luck), so I feel funny about having one with papers. The reason I got a daschund is because they give good love. It's seems to be the case with Ruth-Anne. Whenever little kids hold her or pet her a look of contentment and joy comes over their faces, it is very good to see. Very good.
THAT DOG IS SO DAMN CUTE! I CAN'T STAND IT!
Niki, i cant wait to meet her in person. so good to see you the other night! xoxo
Sorry, Ruth-Anne. I thought you were part Basset. My spouse knows her breeds much better than I.
Ruth-Anne doesn't know she's a daschund, thuough, so she doesn't care. I am curious to see her personality develop. I wonder how big she will see herself to be?
I will post my friend's basset mixes later today; they are very cool!
though
