Meet Ruth-Anne!

There are puppies everywhere in New Orleans right now. Sit in front of the Big Rue and loads will walk by. I know my mood is much better now that I finally found my Ruth-Anne:

She is quite a comfort!

Great looking pup. She has some basset hound in her (ears and legs). Animals, unlike some or most people, are what they are.
Good luck with her.

AWWWW!

It is Puppy Central these days. Clyde (one of the kids who lives in the apartments next door) has been bringing his aunt's 6-week old Shihtzu puppy over to the yard. V. cute as well.

Thanks! It's like a baby boom or something. I have always had street dogs (always good luck), so I feel funny about having one with papers. The reason I got a daschund is because they give good love. It's seems to be the case with Ruth-Anne. Whenever little kids hold her or pet her a look of contentment and joy comes over their faces, it is very good to see. Very good.

Sorry, Ruth-Anne. I thought you were part Basset. My spouse knows her breeds much better than I.

Ruth-Anne doesn't know she's a daschund, thuough, so she doesn't care. I am curious to see her personality develop. I wonder how big she will see herself to be?

I will post my friend's basset mixes later today; they are very cool!
